Review: Techtextil and Texprocess in May 2019

Techtextil and Texprocess, the two leading trade fairs for technical textiles and nonwovens, were a complete success for Groz-Beckert once again this year. The company welcomed over two thousand visitors jointly with the Schmetz brand from 14 to 17 May 2019, and even had an increase in visitor numbers in the field of Knitting. In addition to Italy, Portugal and Germany, interested parties from Turkey, France and the Czech Republic also made the trip.

The focus in the Knitting field was mainly on innovative system solutions. These solutions guarantee an even appearance of the products and process reliability.

The Weaving product area presented its product highlights for weaving preparation and the weaving accessories in the form of special healds, as well as the innovative ANTABRA surface treatment.

The Felting area also had a wealth of innovations to present. A real problem solver was presented here in the form of the customizable customer label, which offers both know-how protection and helps to prevent mix-ups in production. Visitors also had the opportunity to view the GEBECON® felting needle in the form of a man-size exhibit and discover the advantages it offers in terms of bending breakage, for example.

The relatively new Carding product area impressed at Techtextil with its SiroLock® and EvoStep® worker and doffer wires, which offer improved control of the fibers.

Groz-Beckert certainly demonstrated its innovative skill in the field of Sewing: The product area was once again the center of attention at Techtextil. The following trade fair video shows that both the SAN® 6 special application needle and the innovative INH trolley (Ideal Needle Handling) attracted particular attention. See for yourself – in our short clip.
